The summer of 1978/79 is a memorable one for me.
A pleasant little reminder ❤️😀❤️

Funny, I was playing Kaya earlier tonight I love that record - Baffling Smoke Signal is a nice Lee Perry album - well I like it anyway...they're all different.

that last scratch perry album was really good. He's got some not so good things to say about Bob Marley. of course I love Bob mostly Kaya... Love putting the echo on my guitar and playing Chka Chka Chka...

Ha! Yes Bguitars-3 hours in a bong! Exactly.

Love Jimmy Cliff and was going to tell you it was last year we saw him at The Gov, but hubby just confirmed it was in 2015.....ummm🔥🍀? Anyways, great show-great vibe, great people🎶🎵

And Orion: like the Finns but really don't know that much about them so thanks!👍

Seen the ENZ several times - Neil & Tim are great writers...check out the song 'Angels Heap' if you don't know it...
wouldn't call myself a reggae connoisseur, but I love the stuff I do have - King tubby, scratch perry, Ernest ranglin to name a few.

You know who else packed that arena .. SPLIT ENZ. 6 months in a leaky boat tour... they were huge in Edmonton, Canada... loved them....💗💗

@BGuitars We've got some good reggae bands here in New Zealand - the Marley concert in Auckland 1979 had a profound effect - it's a big part of the Kiwi Pacifica sound now.

Saw Peter Tosh and Jimmy Cliff at the arena here in Edmonton. 16,000 people. We didnt have anything to smoke and were worried.. No problem it was like standing inside a bong for 3 hours..... 👀🍀👍💗🎶🎵
