Does anybody know if there is litrature about the developement of the famous Stones-Tongue and how it happens? I need it for study :)

There is no official book about it. I did a paper about it in design college and most of information I found was through Google and asking other fans. Victoria and Albert Museum purchased the original artwork by Pasche around 2008. You should also Google Bernie Cefalu.

The designer sold the logo and all claims to it for an amount I can't recall because he never thought he could match the offer by collecting royalties. He was of the belief the Stones had peeked and wouldn't be around much longer.

Yes and John Pasche, or someone using his name is on occasionally on the Keith shrine and stones fan sites seems cool and very humble . may get to chat him up . good luck with project .

Pasche gets most of the credit but from what I understand, it was a work in progress and several designers worked on it.

Below is a link to a video of Ernie Cefalu. Ernie definitely had a role in the creation. Yet he is humble enough to not take credit for it and says what I stated earlier. The tongue evolved a bit.
